"Potato Flowers in Full Bloom" is a 3D dungeon RPG where you explore underground mazes in pursuit of legendary potato seeds. The story takes place in a world where crops can no longer grow due to soil pollution. Players form a party of investigators and venture into the maze, aiming for the lowest level where the seeds are stored.
Dungeon Exploration
One of the game's features is the concept of "brightness" in dungeons. Without light, you can't see even one step ahead in the darkness. Furthermore, you can't open the map in darkness, leaving you unaware of your current location. The game's appeal lies in exploring dungeons repeatedly while using time-limited torches, gradually building shortcut routes to expand your range of movement.
Combat System
The combat's feature is that "enemy actions are predictable." You can see which enemy will take what action against whom, allowing you to take the optimal action accordingly. While health and stamina fully recover after combat ends, the battles themselves are challenging and deep.
Party Formation
You can form a balanced party from eight types of classes like "Knight" and "Wizard," including close-range and support types. The key to victory lies in party formation that takes advantage of each class's characteristics.
